Our Story

Digi Merchant began as The Apple Merchant in 2021, a passion project built on one belief: premium Apple technology shouldn’t be out of reach. In early 2026, we rebranded to Digi Merchant to reflect our growing range — refurbished, gently used, and brand new iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple Watches, iMacs and Samsung devices.
Based in Pretoria, South Africa, we’ve spent years helping South Africans access genuine Apple devices at honest prices, and we serve customers nationwide. Our Refurbishment Process

Every device goes through a multi-step process before it's listed for sale:

  1. Intake & Assessment — the device is received and fully evaluated for hardware and software condition
  2. Diagnostics — battery, screen, cameras, speakers, ports, Face ID / Touch ID, and more are all tested
  3. Repair & Restoration — any faulty components are replaced with OEM parts by certified technicians.
  4. Factory Reset — the device is factory reset, updated to the latest compatible iOS/macOS, and verified clean.
  5. Deep Clean — thorough cleaning inside and out
  6. Grading — meticulous inspection and honest grading..

Only devices that pass every step make it to our store.
