1. Returns
1.1 You may return an unwanted product to Digi Merchant, provided:
1.1.1. It is in the original packaging, which must be undamaged and in its original condition with all seals still intact (if applicable);
1.1.2. It is not missing any accessories or parts,
1.1.3. You return the product to Digi Merchant together with the invoice emailed within 7 days of delivery to you or collection by you of the unwanted product.
1.1.4. For all returns, refunds and exchanges a collection fee of R150 will be charged.
1.1.5. Once we have inspected the Returned Product and validated your return, we will credit your credit card with the purchase price of the product within 3-5 working days of the return being received.
1.1.6. You may also elect to exchange a Returned Product for another product (the “Exchange Product”) that is of the same value as the Returned Product. If the price of the Returned Product is less than that of the Exchange product, you will be liable to pay the cash difference between the two products. And if the price of the Returned Product is more than that of the Exchange product, Digi Merchant will refund the balance to your credit card used on the original invoice.
1.1.7. A 20% handling fee will be charged on opened / used products that were purchased sealed.
1.1.8. All Returned Products are subject to inspection by Digi Merchant prior to a refund or an exchange.
1.1.9. If you want Digi Merchant to collect the Returned Product from you, please make sure to contact Digi Merchant. Digi Merchant will charge a fee of R150 to facilitate the collection on the Returned Product.
2. Refunds
2.1. We will only effect a credit card transaction reversal following inspection of the returned product and to the credit card that was initially used to purchase the products online.
2.2. Refunds may take between 3-5 working days to process.
2.3. A 2% cancellation fee will be charged on orders placed through a "Pay Later" service.
2.3. We will not be liable for any bank charges, taxes, interest and/or any other fees that may be levied against you for the refund.
2.4. Courier fees are not refundable.
3. Warranty
3.1 All pre-owned devices are covered by a 6 month in-store warranty, brand new devices are covered by a 12 month manufacturer warranty.
3.2 If any device is found to be tampered with, warranty will be void. Liquid damage, cracked screens or visible signs of unit been dropped or damaged are not covered by the warranty. All devices returned will be sent for a full evaluation before a refund or exchanged is processed.
3.3 Warranty covers mechanical or electrical manufacturing faults on the device which occurs within a 6 month period from the date of purchase. Should your device comply with the warranty terms & conditions, your device will be repaired under warranty.
4. Products damaged on delivery
4.1 Should a product be damaged or missing any parts or accessories at the time of delivery, please notify Digi Merchant on the day of such delivery via our WhatsApp or email.
4.2 Once we have received and inspected the product, we will replace the damaged accessories/product as soon as possible.
